With the arrival of Dying Light 2, players are anxiously parting with their hard-won gold coins in order to play this game. But already, some players are seeing a Dying Light 2 Game Purchase Error, when attempting to acquire the game on Steam. If this has happened to you, then you might be wondering what it is, and how you go about resolving it. That's what we'll be looking at in this article. So stick around.
How To Fix “Currently Your Game Purchase Cannot Be Re-Validated”
There are currently only a couple of suggested remedies for this particular issue, should you be hit with it, first off, is to try verifying the integrity of the game files. To do this on Steam:
- Restart your computer and launch Steam
- Next, you can either right click the game in your Library, or click the gear icon from the game's Library page on the far right
- From the drop down menu, select Properties...
- Select the Local Files tab and click the Verify integrity of game files... button
- Wait for the provess to finish. It can take several minutes.
If this doesn't work, others have suggested that uninstalling Dying Light 2 and then reinstalling it, has been effective. We haven't been able to verify this, but if you can't get into the game at this stage, then you haven't really got anything to lose by trying this.
If neither of these fixes works, we recommend contacting Techland for additional help and support. We do know they are working extremely hard to deliver patches to fix the most pressing issues on the game. So it's vital that if you see any updates pending for the game, you download and install them as soon as possible. There's a good chance they will fix this, and a host of other irritating issues.

What Is The Dying Light 2 Game Purchase Error?
It may not have escaped your attention, but Dying Light 2 has already had a lot of bugs identified. And some of them are pretty major. This particular error is another that seems to be making the game unplayable.
Users who are affected get a message that says "Currently your game purchase cannot be re-validated successfully, please wait 24 hours and try again". But who wants to wait 24 hours to play a brand new game they've just bought and paid for?
It's unclear exactly why this error has arisen. Given the number of game-breaking issues that have already been reported, we perhaps shouldn't be too surprised. Some people have suggested that the issue is caused by Denuvo DRM.
Denuvo DRM is an anti-piracy software that Techland have added to the game at almost the last minute. It has been blamed for major issues with games such as Resident Evil Village and Tekken 7. In mitigation, there are plenty of other games that use this software without issues.
Others have suggested it is simply a problem caused by trying to play the game on a different one to where you initially made the purchase.
