This has been touted as one of the best games of the previous generation, with its innovative role-playing game play and skill trees.

Disco Elysium is still fondly remembered, and since its release only a year ago in October, fans have been waiting for news on the ports to other consoles, including the next-gen, now current-gen entries.

With updates on the way for Cyberpunk enabling graphical improvements on a PS5 or Xbox Series S/X, fans have been wondering as to what Disco Elysium will offer.

At the ā€˜Game Awardsā€™ last night, we got our answer, the dates for all the ports now confirmed.

When does Final Cut land on Series S/X and PS5?

Last night, ā€˜Disco Elysium: The Final Cutā€™ was announced for release on PS5, PS4, Xbox, Switch and PC, which is a free update to those who own the regular version, but is also available as a stand-alone release for other consoles.

Not just the PS4 and PS5, but in March 2021, itā€™s also landing on Steam, Epic Games Store, GOG, App Store, Google Stadia as well.

Itā€™s a multi-whammy of multi-format releases for an incredible game, all in one month, but thatā€™s not all.

For the PS5 and Xbox Series S/X, thereā€™s also a touted 4K resolution and 60 FPS support, alongside ā€™Quick Resumeā€™ on Xbox and DualSense features on the PS5 version.

What about the rest?

Even though the release in March is on a wide variety of systems, the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Series S/X have a later date.

For these consoles, itā€™s Summer 2021. One may suspect that a version is being readied for the rumoured ā€˜Switch Proā€™ coming next year, touting better resolutions, better battery and lots more.

Alongside the full voice acting and additional quests for the game, itā€™s great to see a critically acclaimed game such as Disco Elysium get ported to all the available systems in 2021.

Thereā€™s really no excuse to try the game out on one of these systems, itā€™s simply a very fun game that you should look to pre-order when available.
