Three years since the game’s initial release, Cyberpunk 2077 has finally released its first expansion: Phantom Liberty. However, the new story’s main character, Idris Elba’s Solomon Reed, isn’t just limited to the new expansion’s narrative.

As it turns out, Idris Elba’s Solomon Reed can be seen outside of the main campaign just going about his job. As a sleeper agent for the New United States of America, Reed can be seen going about missions before you even interact with the character.

Via IGN, Solomon Reed often frequents bars within Night City, not just in the expansion’s new location Dogtown. As you explore Night City in Cyberpunk 2.0, Idris Elba’s new character will frequently pop up, if you’re looking hard enough.

If players read Reed’s diary in the Phantom Liberty DLC, Solomon Reed has a side gig working at bars around Night City. The secret agent works as a bouncer at the Corpo Plaza nightclub, hilariously donning a white t-shirt and some rather inconspicuous sunglasses.

Solomon Reed’s appearance may not be the best Easter Egg in gaming, but it’s brilliant to see the character engage in everyday life. While Cyberpunk 2077 does still fall short in a number of areas, its attention to detail like this that makes CD Projekt RED’s RPG shine above the rest.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is a huge expansion for the controversial sci-fi RPG, one that can actually be made unplayable rather easily. Launching alongside the game-changing Cyberpunk 2.0 update, the expansion is turning the game’s reputation around. The game has even been made far more playable on Valve’s Steam Deck handheld.

Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty may have only just released across Xbox, PlayStation and PC, but Easter Eggs like this are only just being found.
