Another day means another chance to write about Cyberpunk 2077.
We're actually really looking forwards to not writing about it at all, or at least writing one last article about it because it's finally in good working condition.
That's not the case yet though, so we're telling you about another bug.
This one will halt your story progress, so here's what you need to know.
What is the latest Cyberpunk 2077 bug?
As reported by Eurogamer, the latest bug is all thanks to Patch 1.1, which was meant to improve a bunch of stuff, but has instead introduced a new issue for players to avoid.
The issue occurs with the quest Down on the Street, which " V meet with key NPC Takemura at the Channel Street docks in Japantown. As part of this quest you must wait to receive a holocall from Takemura, and it's this holocall that appears to now be bugged for some players. Takemura will call, but remain silent, simply staring at V."
Now, to be clear, that's either really creepy or really funny, and we're not really sure which.
The good news is that there is a workaround, but you'll need an earlier save game for this to work.

What is the workaround for this bug?
The workaround is on the CD Projekt Red site and suggests you:
- Load a gamesave before Takemura and V leave Wakako's office.
- Finish the conversation with Takemura outside the office right away.
- Right after the finished conversation and when the quest was updated, skip 23h.
- See if the holocall triggers and the dialogue with Takemura starts.
Our recommendation is to simply not play or buy the game until you see gaming websites not writing about game-breaking bugs. Please, by all means buy the game eventually, but don't do it until it works.
