If you wish to see who shared your TikTok video, you are not alone.
We all are a bit curious about who is sharing our TikTok videos. Whether it's a TikTok Duet or one of the latest TikTok trends, it would be nice to know the friends, family or even strangers who are spreading our TikTok video online.
In this guide, we’ll show you if it's possible to see the individual profiles who shared your TikTok video, thus understanding what possible topics your next video might be about.
Can you see who shared your TikTok video?
While, previously, it was possible to see who shared your TikTok video, that feature has now been removed.
TikTok has been known for removing several features. For example, the TikTok watch history feature which users had been using on a daily basis was also taken away. However, the feature was later brought back.
Similarly, the TikTok feature that lets you see who viewed your TikTok video was once removed and then re-introduced. So, there is hope that TikTok will restore the ability to see who shared your TikTok videos.

How to see who shared your TikTok video
Although you can't see who shared your TikTok, it is possible to see how many people have shared our video around. We know it is not what you are looking for but it can be helpful if you want to how well your video is doing on the platform.
So, here's how to check how many users have shared our TikTok with their friends:
- Open TikTok and tap on the profile button.
- Tap on the video you want to see shares for.
- Underneath the video, there should be a Shares button, just click it to find out how many people shared the video.
If you're not seeing the "Shares" button, perhaps no one has shared that particular video with friends or, if they've done so, they did it privately, so we are restricted from seeing it.
