If you've been wondering if you can see who has shared your Instagram posts, you've come to the right place. There's nothing like hoping to see how far your pictures and clips have gone with various users sharing them to friends, and here's if you can find out who exactly has helped to share them.
Much like the way to read Instagram DMs without leaving a trail, or finding out how to unfollow everyone on Instagram, finding out who shared your post may be tricky. Here's everything you'll need to know.
How to See Who Has Shared Your Instagram Posts
If you're hoping to see who has shared your Instagram posts, you'll need a Instagram Professional account first. However, you'll only be able to see your insights on posts created after you converted your account to a Creator or Business. After that, here's how to see who shared your post:
- Open the Instagram app on your Android or iPhone device
- Tap on a post from your Instagram feed
- Click the blue View Insights button
- Tap on the paper aeroplane-looking arrow symbol
From there, you'll be able to see who has shared your post, as well as how many shares it has got. Unfortunately, some people report issues with viewing who has shared it if the post has multiple photos, and due to privacy concerns, you won't be able to see who has shared your post if you're in any EU countries or the United Kingdom.
If you don't like the features that come with the Instagram Professional accounts, you can always switch back to a standard account at any time.
Of course, it's a shame you can't see who shared your posts on Instagram before changing your account to a professional one. And, there may be some issues when sharing Instagram posts to Facebook, but at least you'll know how to do it for the foreseeable future!
