Baldur's Gate 3 is making good strides in Early Access on PC at the moment.
As the next game from the studio that made the excellent Divinity: Original Sin 2, there are likely lots of people eager to play it on other platforms too.
It can be annoying to wait for one of your favourite studios to bring their games to consoles, but that's just the way it is sometimes.
If you want to know if Baldur's Gate 3 will ever come to other platforms though, here's what we think.
Will the game come to PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X/S or Nintendo Switch?
Larian, despite making what most people would consider PC games, does tend to bring their games to consoles.
It happened with Divinity: Original Sin, and it happened with Divinity: Original Sin 2 thanks to the definitive edition.
The second game even came to Switch with cross-save with the Steam edition, which is a huge plus if you like playing the same game seamlessly in different places.
You can, therefore, safely assume that the game will come to consoles too, though we're not 100% sure it'll come to both PS4 and Xbox One too.

When will the game come to PS4, Xbox One, PS5, Xbox Series X/S or Nintendo Switch?
Baldur's Gate 3 won't come to consoles until it's completely finished in all likelihood.
That means it probably won't come to consoles until 2022 at the earliest. It's possible that it'll make it's way over earlier, but we'd be very surprised.
It all depends on whether or not the game is finished by then, and that depends on how much work Larian is going to do on it (a lot).
We'll just have to wait for confirmation from the studio.
