Ubisoft’s upcoming Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora might have online and co-op features when it comes out, claims a leaker. If true, this could be a unique experience for fans of the James Cameron movies, letting them do missions together as the Na’vi.
The leak comes from ScriptLeaksR6, who previously revealed in-game screenshots of the game and announced the delay for Assassin’s Creed: Mirage. Also, this is a AAA Ubisoft game and those get leaked every other day, as previous installments from the company have proven.
Either way, ScriptLeaksR6 claims that Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will have online and co-op features but couldn’t determine how it would be implemented. When a fan asked if it would be an actual online co-op or some kind of gimmick, the leaker claims they didn’t know. It seems that we’ll have to wait for further details.
Still, anyone who has dreamed of being a Na’vi should feel right at home if there is proper multiplayer in the game. We can imagine some fun co-op missions in the world of Pandora, given its sheer size and beauty. They could also make a generic multiplayer mode, which can be fun, if not less ambitious.
As of this writing, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora has been described as a first-person action-adventure game, which isn’t saying much. That does make us think this licensed title won’t be a typical first-person shooter, which is something. We haven’t seen too many Avatar games so there’s always hope that we’ll get something of quality here.

Originally, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora was supposed to come out this July but has been delayed to 2023/2024 fiscal year. Don’t expect to see anything from this game anytime soon, unless Ubisoft announces a showcase for the game. Hopefully, like Avatar: The Way of Water before it, the game is worth the wait.
