We've still got our ear to the ground for any AMD Radeon RX 7000 series news, especially around the release date of the cards themselves.
But, when all is so very, very quiet, we have to listen closely, and look towards the latest leaks and rumours for clues.
Let's see what's out there and find out exactly when it could be hitting shelves.
When Is The Radeon RX 7000 Release Date?
Even though not confirmed, it does appear likely that we'll see the Radeon RX 7000 release this year, potentially in Q4.
Now this is based on a since deleted tweet from @broly_X1, reported by Tech Advisor, and a promising January 2022 earnings call, which made reference to upcoming RDNA-3 GPUs.
'Turning to 2022. Demand for our product is very strong, and we look forward to another year of significant growth and share gains as we ramp our current products and launch our next wave of Zen 4 CPUs and RDNA 3 GPUs. We have also made significant investments to secure the capacity needed to support our growth in 2022 and beyond.'
While both do not explicitly say that we will be getting the Radeon RX 7000 soon, it does seem somewhat believable, especially as it appears (fingers crossed) that the chip shortages are a thing of the past.
That being said, we really won't know until AMD confirms this, and even then, we imagine the whole series will not be released in one go.
If they are staggered, it could be a case that we're waiting a while for the lower-end cards in the Radeon RX 7000 series, and may see AMD prioritise the rumoured Radeon RX 7900 XT's release instead.
What else do we know about the Radeon RX 7000?
We've rounded up all the latest AMD Radeon RX 7000 series leaks here, which cover everything from price predictions to performance rumours.
At the time of writing, AMD's new graphics cards are still somewhat a mystery, but we're sure to find out more over the coming months...including whether or not they're a match for the Nvidia 4000 series too.
