Acer Predator Helios 700 2020 laptop specs, features, price and release date
First up is the brilliant Acer Predator Helios 700. This amazing notebook features the HyperDrift keyboard, introduced for the device last year to help with cooling to allow for more powerful processors to be installed.
The new iteration of the Helios 700 is equipped with either a 10th-gen Intel Core i9-10980HK or i7-10875H processor, as well as the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER or RTX 2070 SUPER graphics unit. The i9 unit also features a new "thermal solution" called Predator PowerGem.
Acer's press release also states: "Additional high-performance updates include faster 2933 Hz memory (max 64 GB), an additional Thunderbolt 3 port (for a total of two) and the latest Killer DoubleShot Pro (Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i wireless and E3100G Ethernet) to ensure that speed-critical applications get bandwidth priority."
2020 Helios 700 units will be shipping from August in North America, priced at $2,499.99. The European release will follow in September, priced from €2,699. That should work out at a £2,000-£2,500 price tag in the UK.

Acer Predator Helios 300 2020 laptop specs, features, price and release date
The slightly less elite Predator Helios 300 is also getting an upgrade this year. This super value for money laptop now comes powered by 10th-gen Intel Core H-series processors, kitted out with an overclockable NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070 GPU for epic graphic output.
Critics and users alike have praised the Helios 300 in the past for its 144 Hz display, which in many ways is its selling point. That trend looks to continue, as the 2020 model boasts a 240 Hz refresh rate on its 15.6" full HD screen. Delivering a 3 ms overdrive response time, this is one of the fastest laptops around.
Other highlights of the updated Helios 300 include support for up to 32 GB of 2933 MHz DDR4 memory, two PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 configuration and up to a 2 TB hard drive.
You can get your hands on a new Acer Predator Helios 300 gaming laptop starting in July, priced from $1,199.99 in the US, €1,299 in Europe or £1,199.99 in the UK.
