With both the Xbox Series X and the PS5 coming out later this year, a lot of people will be wondering which one they should get.
Should you go for the Xbox Series X, it's got more power, after all.
Should you go for the PS5, Sony does tend to have better exclusive games.
Well, let us help you decide with the advantages that the PS5 has over the Xbox Series X.
PS5 Exclusives
There are a fair few games coming to PS5 and PS5 only. For example, Demon's Souls, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Sackboy: A Big Adventure, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Gran Turismo 7, Horizon: Forbidden West, Deathloop, and Ghostwire: Tokyo are all PS5 exclusives.
That means you can only play them on PS5, and let's be honest, Demon's Souls is a good enough reason on its own.

The SSD
While both the Xbox Series X and the PS5 have an SSD, only the PS5 SSD has Marcus Lehto, one of the people who helped create the original Halo, saying "It will open up the door for more expansive content that can stream a lot faster. Players won’t be waiting on load screens and we won’t have to hide loading behind cinematics and that kind of thing."

Actually next-gen
Sony is committed to having a clean-cut between generations. That means that while Microsoft are keen to keep those who can't buy an Xbox Series X still playing new games thanks to smart delivery and whatnot, Sony is going all-in.
This means that you'll be able to trust that Sony is giving 100% of their attention to the PS5, and the games will reflect that.

You already use Sony
Loads of people own a PS4, so upgrading to PS5 is a natural progression. Not only that but backwards compatibility makes sticking with the same company more logical than ever.
If you want all of your current games to transfer to your next machine, then going with the PS5 makes perfect sense if you've got a PS4 at the moment.

3D Audio
Finally, the PS5 is promising to completely change how we think about sound in games with 3D Audio.
Amongst the plethora of new and improved functions, this is one of the most fascinating. We're all used to graphics getting better each generation, but the idea of truly immersive sound design is one that is very hard to wrap our heads around.
It's also one that only Sony is doing, and that makes it a very good reason to get a PS5 over an Xbox Series X.
