Is My5 available on PS5?

At the time of writing, the My5 app is currently unavailable on the PlayStation 5 console, meaning you will be unable to watch the latest Channel 5 shows on your shiny new console.

My5 follows the likes of BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and All4 in being unavailable on the PlayStation 5 at launch, with Sony's latest console only currently supporting a select group of media applications, including Netflix, Disney+ and YouTube.

There has currently been no update from Sony or Channel 5 regarding when the My5 application or any further British streaming services will launch on the PlayStation 5.

Is My5 available on PS4?

Yes!

Unlike its successor, the My5 app is available on the PlayStation 4. You can download the app from the PlayStation Store here. If you're worried about your PS4 storage, the My5 app takes up just 34.47MB.

Unlike most PlayStation 4 games, the My5 app and other media applications available on the PS4 do not support backwards compatibility with the PlayStation 5, making this one of the select few areas where the PS4 currently outperforms the PS5. Take that, scalpers.
