How To Turn Off Sensitive Content On Twitter Android
Turning off sensitive content on Twitter on Android is pretty straightforward. All you have to do is:
- On the Twitter app, tap your profile picture at the top-left.
- Tap Settings and privacy and then select Privacy and safety.
- Tap Content you see.
- Enable the toggle for Display media that may contain sensitive content.
From now on, whenever you come across sensitive content on Twitter, just tap show or view to see the content.
How To Turn Off Sensitive Content On Twitter iPhone
Unlike Android, you cannot turn off Twitter sensitive content on your iPhone directly from your app. You have to do it via the Twitter website. Here is how:
- Head over to the Twitter website.
- Click on More on the left pane.
- Select Settings and privacy > Privacy and safety > Content you see.
- Check the box for Display media that may contain sensitive content.
That's it! Tweets with sensitive content are normally hidden from searches and you need to enable them separately if you prefer. To do so, go to Settings and privacy > Privacy and safety > Content you see > Search Settings, and uncheck “Hide Sensitive Content”.
