If you have a new cool username in mind, you can easily change your Tiktok username with just a couple of taps. To do so, follow these steps.
- Open TikTok and tap Profile in the bottom right.
- Tap Edit profile and select Username.
- Enter your desired username. Your TikTok username has to be unique and should satisfy the TikTok username guidelines.
- Now that you have set the new username, you can tap Save.
Keep in mind that your username can be maximum of 24 characters. Also you can't use any profanity or rude words, of course.
Finally, you have changed your TikTok username as you wished. But, what if you are thinking of a more creative and cool username the next day, and would like to change your username again?
Well, TikTok doesn't allow that. Once you change your TikTok username, you'll have to wait at least 30 days to change it again. However, there is a hack to change your username before 30 days, but unfortunately there is a catch.
How To Change Your Username on TikTok Before 30 Days
It is no longer possible to change your name on TikTok without waiting 30 days. Previously, going through your settings and changing the date to thirty days in the future did work, but this no longer allows you to alter your name.
TikTok has most likely identified the workaround and fixed it with its own patch. It now appears that you have no other choice than to wait 30 days before you can change your username.
