Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 has been announced! It’s a modern remaster of those two classic THPS games, but you might be wondering which consoles it is going to be playable on… once again, it’s bad news for Nintendo Switch fans!

Activision will publish the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 remake, which has been handled by Vicarious Visions (who previously helmed the hugely successful Crash Bandicoot remaster).

The game will launch on 4 September, and people who pre-order the game will get early access to the iconic Warehouse level.

The official Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 trailer ends with a flurry of logos, making it clear that the game will launch on PS4, Xbox One and PC (with the Epic Games Store handling the PC release). You can read on to learn more about which platforms that game will be available on.


Is the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remake on Nintendo Switch?

Is the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remake coming to Nintendo Switch? Right now, the answer to that question is a firm no. Activision has not overtly announced a Switch release for the new Tony Hawk’s game. This doesn’t mean there won’t be a Switch port at some point, but it clearly isn’t a priority right now.

Is the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater Remake on PS4 or PS5?

The initial launch for the Tony’s Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 remake will reach the PS4 in September, although we wouldn’t be surprised to see a PS5 release happening at some point later on.

The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 remake is confirmed to launch on Xbox One this coming September. It seems logical that an Xbox Series X release will follow, but that next-gen upgrade for the new Tony Hawk’s game has not been confirmed as of yet.

How to play Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remake on PC

If you want to play the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 remaster on PC, you’ll have to log into the Epic Games Store – that’s the exclusive PC launch platform for the game. We don’t know yet whether a Steam release will follow, but it certainly isn’t happening when the new Tony Hawk’s game launches in September.

Is the Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater remake on Google Stadia?

Google Stadia was not mentioned once during the announcement, so we can safely say that Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 & 2 remaster will not launch on Google’s game-streaming platform any time soon.
