  • Make sure you have already connected your Quest 3 to your PC.
  • Select Start > Settings > System > Sound
  • From here, go to Input > Test your microphone
  • There will be a blue bar that should rise and fall in line with you speaking while wearing your Quest 3 headset.
  • If the bar is moving, then your mic is being detected properly by your PC.

If you have rebooted your device several times and your PC is correctly detecting the headset as an audio device and the mic is not muted, then there is probably something wrong with the hardware of your Quest 3. We would recommend getting in contact with Meta for a fix.
