Finding the best gaming PC deals isn't all about the all-encompassing Amazon Prime Day. In fact, we’ve found a killer gaming PC on sale that harks back to when buying a PC wasn’t riddled with price increases thanks to all of the, well, non-gaming-focused use of PC gaming equipment. The market’s pretty horrifying at the moment because of constant price rises, so it’s nice to highlight a gaming rig that’s actually rather inexpensive by comparison.

The Horizon Prime Splash Ryzen RTX 3060 Gaming PC is currently £799.99, or £100 less if you get it without Windows 11 Home. It's completely customisable though, as long as you don’t mind the price changing. As standard, this rig comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 processor, a GeForce RTX 3060, and a 1TB SSD. It’s just a very solid rig for an incredibly good price.

While it’s not the newest tech, it’s still enough to play many of the big games currently available or coming out, all of which will look great teamed with a top gaming monitor. It comes with a few different looks too, which get the job done, although the pink one is a little too vibrant for our tastes. If you’ve got more money and want better specs, you can customise it as you want and things will scale up, but this definitely makes for a solid gaming PC all on its own.

It's especially good if you’re just looking to get your first gaming PC and don’t know what to look for, or if you’re buying one for a family member who’s not going to need everything to be running in eye-melting 8K. It makes us long for the good old days when PCs didn’t cost upwards of three grand for the latest technology. Sure, we’re getting a little long in the tooth and grey in the hair, but PC prices these days suck. Fortunately, this amazing deal gives a glimmer of hope for PC prices in the future.
