With Xbox Game Pass, Google Stadia, PS Now and even Amazon Luna attracting so much attention, many gamers all-too-often forget about GeForce Now - NVIDIA's cloud-based gaming service.
First released into beta in 2015, GeForce Now was finally made available to the public in February 2020. It is available on Windows, macOS, ChromeOS, Android and iOS devices, alongside the NVIDIA Shield.

What is GeForce Now?
GeForce Now is a cloud-based gaming service with a slightly unique twist on the model used by Xbox Game Pass and Stadia, for example. Rather than paying for GeForce Now to access games you don't own, for example, GeForce now lets users play their own games via its servers, streaming games at 1080p in 60 or 120 FPS in some cases depending on internet connections.
There are two types of memberships available for GeForce Now: Free, and Founders. The free membership gives you standard access to the service, with one-hour-long sessions. The Founders membership grants you priority access and extended session lengths, costing £4.99 per month, or £24.95 for six months.
During peak times, those with priority access will experience shorter wait times than free members when starting a game, as they will be placed in the front of the queue. Once your session ends (One hour for free members, six hours for Founders), you will need to enter the queue again.
GeForce Now previously came under fire for this method that allows games to play their already owned games on its services, with some developers removing their games from GeForce Now as they had not given NVIDIA permission to do so.
As of May 2020, NVIDIA changed this approach and required developers/publishers to opt into its service.

What games are available on GeForce Now?
Given this shift in NVIDIA's approach, new games will not simply be available to play on the platform upon release without being signed off by the developers.
Luckily, there are a huge number of games available through GeForce Now, so long as you own them. This includes Assassin's Creed Valhalla, CSGO, Death Stranding, Far Cry 5, Fortnite, Half-Life 2, Hitman 2, Just Cause 4, League of Legends, No Man's Sky, Rocket League, Star Wars KOTR, The Division 2 and Watch Dogs Legion.

GeForce Now new games
Ubisoft is one of the largest publishers to give its support to GeForce Now, and so it's no surprise to learn that its latest game, Immortals Fenxy Rising is available on the platform as of 3 December.
Alongside this open-world title, Empire of Sin, Per Aspera, Phoenix Point: Year One Edition, Shiren the Wanderer: The Tower of Fortune and the Dice of Fate, Dead Cells, Door Kickers 2 Task Force North and Path of Exile are all also available from 3 December, so long as you already own them.
