Logitech G903 Lightspeed Wireless Gaming Mouse Review

Logitech G has been at the forefront of wireless gaming for years now.

From premium mice such as the G PRO Wireless to cheaper alternatives that offer exceptional performance such as the G305 and G703. It seems Logitech has a mouse for every type of player.

The G903 has been released for a few years now, and it has received a decent amount of attention. But, since the price was around the same as the G PRO Wireless, many did not seek out this mouse. However, Logitech has since slashed the price, and now all eyes are on the G903.

So, should the G903 be on your wishlist? Here's our review!

First Impressions

Logitech kindly sent over one of the G903 Lightspeed wireless gaming mice over to us to check out for this review.  For some background context, we have tested virtually every Logitech G mouse that has released to date. From the G502, G703, G305, and the G PRO Wireless; all of Logitech's mice differ in some way, and the G903 is no exception.

The shape is one of the most unique we have ever tested, and the 110g weight is noticeably apparent as soon as you lift the mouse out of the box.

Design/Ergonomics - Score 93

One of the most vital parts of any mouse, the G903 is one that takes a lot of notes from other Logitech mice. The inspirations are easily noticeable, as the overall shape and size of the mouse is one that appears to be longer than the G PRO Wireless; but also one that feels sturdy in the hand.

One of the shining factors of the mice is ergonomic grooves throughout the mice. While it is nothing as drastic, such as the G703; the design elements seen throughout the G903 are ones that will enhance your comfort levels while gaming.

Another factor that is certainly worth noting, is the ridges and grooves within the mouse 1/2 buttons. These are subtle yet effective, as your fingers easily rest on these buttons without any worries.

Overall, the design elements of the G903 is one of the shining stars within the mouse as a whole.

Buttons - Score 85

With a staggering 11 programable buttons on the G903, including the option to add/remove the side buttons on each side of the mouse; this is another factor that is unique to this mouse.

While you may not find yourself using all of these buttons, it is still a great option to have in your back pocket. Furthermore, one of the best features we noticed regarding the mouse is the scroll wheel.

A sturdy rubber material, combined with a tactical feel is exactly what we love to see out of gaming mice nowadays. The G903 delivers in this aspect!

Weight - Score 65

Moving onto the least impressive feature of the G903, and that of course is the 110g weight that the mouse carries. Nearly twice the weight of other wireless mice such as the Glorious Model O Wireless;  the G903's burden is the excessive weight.

The weight is noticeable when gaming, and often times you will think what if this mouse was lighter.

While some of you may prefer this heavyweight to the G903; it is hard to justify with the options we have on the market nowadays.

Our Score

Pros

  • Design
  • Price Cut
  • Buttons and Scroll Wheel

Cons

  • Weight
  • Can it compare to the G PRO Wireless at the same price?

All in all, the G903 is still one of the most well rounded Logitech mice on the market right now. There is a lot to take in when purchasing a new mouse, and if you can disregard the excessive weight of this mouse, there is a lot you are going to love.

We would love to see Logitech take the design/buttons of the G903 and somehow convert it into a lighter version of this mouse. Similar to what they have recently done with the G PRO Superlight.

For now, we will have to wait and see what is in store for gamers in 2021 and what products Logitech has up their sleeves!
