Next-gen consoles right around the corner, and fast-food chains are always a great way to generate hype, so it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise that KFC is giving away Xbox Series X consoles and an awesome gaming bundle worth £10,000.
We've already seen Pringles giving away next-gen Xbox consoles and Burger King promoting the PS5, so it is truly right and just that the Colonel should enter this arena as well.

The ultimate gaming giveaway
KFC and Xbox are launching a competition called The Hunt. It's described as a "treasure hunt that tests your hen-durance and takes you to the far corners of the internet. As you uncover clues and unlock the 11 challenges you will be taken to the final stage where one clucky person will win the grand prize."
The Grand Prize for this competition is dubbed "The Ultimate Gaming set up", and it is aid to have a value of £10,000. This is what the big prize bundle will contain:
- Xbox Series X console
- KFC Customised Xbox Wireless Controller
- Dynamo Pro Gaming PC set up
- Samsung Note 20 Ultra mobile
- 55" LG OLED55CX5LB TV
- Xbox gaming chair
- KFC mini fridge
But that's not all! KFC also promises that "there will also be epic on the spot prizes up for grabs for each challenge completed until 15th November." There will be Xbox Series X consoles among the daily prizes, as well as these eye-watering KFC versions of the new Xbox controller...
So how do you actually enter the KFC / Xbox competition?
The exact specifics of how to enter the competition are currently being kept under wraps... I suppose it wouldn't be much of a hunt if they just told you what to do, would it?
Hopeful fans are advised to "follow KFC Gaming channels on Instagram, Twitter & TikTok to take part in the Hunt and be in with a chance to win the incredible prizes."
Furthermore, "you can also head to your local KFC restaurant and win daily gaming prizes when you purchase any KFC Box Meal and scan your KFC app."
