The Sims 4 keeps getting more and more content and now EA and Maxis have revealed the latest Stuff Pack, Crystal Creations, which will add three new crystals and the ability to utilise them with a brand-new Gemology skill.

Stuff Packs are smaller DLC drops that aim to give The Sims 4 fans a steady stream of content in between major expansions. Crystal Creations is perhaps one of the most interesting ones thanks to the aforementioned Gemology skill.

As you craft more items using crystals in the new Gemology Table your Sim will get progressively better, improving your Gemology skill. You'll be able to craft over 1,000 different permutations of bejewelled items.

On top of that, Crystal Creations adds three new types of crystals, bringing the total of 27 crystals in The Sims 4 - Jade (Common), Moonstone (Uncommon), Amber (Rare).

Crafting is more than just picking the right crystal, you'll also have to select a proper metal, giving you even greater freedom to come up with unique pieces. In total, there are 22 metals to use, including Silver, Baconite, Death Metal, and Romantium.

Finally, there are 10 different cuts available including heart, plumbob and gnome shapes.

Using the Gemology table won't be the only way to improve your skill. You can also use Gemology skill book to raise it. This is especially handy if you are low on resources and don't want to waste any trying to raise your Gemology skill.

The creations you craft have different uses. Naturally, you can sell them to make some bank, but will also make for excellent gifts, or nice collectable items.
