The Twitch community has just discovered Pokémon Infinite Fusion and is having one heck of a time with it. Like many roms of this kind, it lets players go through a unique version of this beloved IP but with a twist; you can fuse your Pocket Monsters.
Fans can create thousands of these fusions with their wild imaginations, making battles in the game more exciting than mainline entries. It definitely requires a lot more strategy than most, which might be why many are gravitating towards this fan-made rom on Twitch.
Players on Twitter have been sharing their Twitch experience with Pokémon Infinite Fusion, some of which are hilarious. One fan, @LookingCoolZed, even found out that Morgana from Persona 5 is in the game for some reason, being a sprite for fusion possibilities.
Another user, @pockles4nockles, found out what happens when you fuse Meowth and the female Nidoran. Once it evolves into Meowqueen, the golden yen on Meowth’s head are also used as Nidoqueen’s…well…breasts. There’s just no other way to describe it, so look at the user’s reaction below.
Numerous fans have been using fusion generators online to see what kind of combinations they can get with certain Pokémon. They became a pretty popular pastime across the internet, so a game using this very premise is genius. It’s a shame that Game Freak and the Pokémon Company can’t get this creative because plenty of fans would love an official release.
While we won’t see an official Pokémon Infinite Fusion anytime soon, numerous games have used fusion mechanics to fun results. Atlus’ Persona and Shin Megami Tensei titles use them so players can have more powerful attacks against stronger foes. Dragon Ball Fusions on the 3DS is the closest thing to Infinite Fusion, as players can combine any and every character in the franchise up to that point.
