Spider-Man: No Way Home merch may confirm multiverse plot

Upcoming merchandise for the Spider-Man: No Way Home film may have confirmed the long-held fan theory that the movie will feature three different Spider-Man characters. Disney continually denies the film will feature Tom Holland, Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire. However, fans remain convinced all three will appear.

Originally spotted by Screen Rant, the new merchandise includes Spider-Man’s suit which will is called the Integrated Suit. The merchandise is just one in a long line of details about the film which confirm its multiple timelines.

Most notably, several past villains and actors will return in the film. Jamie Foxx will return as Electro and Alfred Molina will reprise Dr. Octopus. The two actors and characters are both from different renditions of Spider-Man. This adds credence to the rumours that the film will feature numerous timelines.

Andrew Garfield has been vocal about having no involvement with the project, stating in May that he “hasn’t been approached” about appearing in the film. Disney is notoriously protective of its projects in development. Andrew would have likely signed a non-disclosure agreement prohibiting his ability to talk about the project.

Giving the game away

Andrew Garfield, Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland haven't let the cat out of the bag yet. However, a Funko Pop has provided a substantial clue. Disney released the first images of the toys recently.

One of the most interesting toys arrives as Spider-Man and his Integrated Suit, which features a mysterious magical shape. It’s likely the Integrated Suit will feature a crossover of science and magic, which could allow Spider-Man to travel between many dimensions.

There are rumours that Dr. Strange will also feature in the film. It’s likely that Dr. Strange could have some involvement in allowing Peter Parker to hop between dimensions. Dr. Stranger will reportedly play an important role in Marvel’s Phase Four, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see him crop up in numerous places.
