Racists use AI to turn The Little Mermaid white in disgusting edit

Disney’s live-action remake of The Little Mermaid is changing the original design of Ariel. While the new movie keeps the red hair, the character is now black, as they’re played by brilliant singer Halle Bailey.

This has infuriated a massive number of men online, most of whom absolutely do not care about The Little Mermaid. However, in a disgusting move, the racist haters are using Artificial Intelligence to turn the actor white.

The Little Mermaid is turned white

In a now-deleted tweet, it was announced that “Artificial Intelligence scientist” TeamGazillion was turning The Little Mermaid white. In a vile backlash against the new movie, a Twitter user claimed the man had “fixed” the movie by erasing the black actress.

“Credits to our memer Artificial Intelligence scientist @TenGazillionIQ,” the tweet said. “He fixed The Little Mermaid, and turned the woke actor into a ginger white girl. He says he can do fix the whole movie when it comes out with 4x A6000 in 24 hours. It's over for wokecels.”

In the image, Halle Bailey’s Ariel is wiped away in favour of a white, ginger lady. As usual, the AI recreation looks off; its dead, mismatched eyes standing out in the dark water. Furthermore, the skin replacement also replaces the rest of the actress’ face, giving her a more angular, European look.

Despite the clearly racist move to erase a black woman from a movie in favour of a whites woman, the original tweeter claims that it isn’t racist. This is despite saying the movie is “woke” for having a black actress.

“Note for Twitter: This is for purely educational purposes, please do not misinterpret this in a racist way,” the clearly racist tweet reads. “I am just amazed by high-IQ friend who works with Artificial Intelligence and the stuff he can make, and wanted to show people his field of study.”

F*** around and find out

Of course, as soon as this tweet was made live, social media exploded. Hundreds of Twitter users responded to the tweet, most of them disgusted at the racist movement to replace the main actress.

As many pointed out, the AI replacement is just painting over Bailey’s performance. Everything would still be based on how she acted, and her killer singing voice would still be there. The only thing being replaced is how she looks, making the replacement entirely based on race, despite claims otherwise.

To erase a black person’s identity is an abhorrent move. Thankfully, after many reports, Twitter has at least removed the tweet from social media. However, now that people know how to do race replacements with AI, it will inevitably happen again.
