It’s taken a long time, but Pokémon HOME support is finally coming to Scarlet and Violet. A feature fans have begged for, HOME support will let you transfer eligible Pokémon from Switch and 3DS games to Scarlet and Violet soon.

Serebii confirmed that the feature will come to the new games on May 30th. After a brief maintenance period, fans will be able to transfer their monsters as much as they want.

At the time of writing, there’s still no official explanation as to why Pokémon HOME was delayed for a week. Based on the delay of this and the Tera Raids, there’s a good chance that a bug may have hindered the company’s plans. Hopefully, everything related to Scarlet and Violet is smooth since the frame rate will never be.

HOME support for these games also means that certain starters will be able to come to Scarlet and Violet after their Tera Raids pass. Charmander, Rowlett, and others might be eligible to come to the game next week, based on the Tera Raids their final evolutions had.

Overall, it’s going to be a good day for Pokémon HOME users, as they can now bring their favorites into Scarlet and Violet. Fans can’t bring all of their favorites into these RPGs but they might be able to in the future once DLC comes out. Leaks claim that favorites like Bulbasaur will be part of the upcoming expansion, which is always great news.
