The paid DLC for Persona 5 Tactica has been leaked, revealing the return of Goro Akechi and Kasumi Yoshizawa. Both characters were absent from Atlus’ Persona 5 Strikers spin-off, but you’ll now be able to pay extra to see them again.

Persona Central confirmed the leak as Atlus accidentally revealed the game early on PlayStation Store. From what was seen on the game’s store page, there was plenty of paid DLC, including an additional story with the two aforementioned characters.

Akechi and Kasumi return in a new story called “Repaint Your Heart,” though details on the content are pretty slim. It’s not yet known how these two characters get involved or if they will even meet the rest of the Phantom Thieves.

Fans were already pumped up to see Persona 5 Tactica as it puts the Phantom Thieves in a tactical RPG. Nintendo also showcased more of the game during their direct, showing how some of the battles will play out. With the addition of this DLC, fans have plenty of reasons to pick this spin-off up.

Spoilers for Persona 5 and Persona 5 Royal

Of course, the real reason why fans are excited is because this is Akechi’s first canon appearance since his death. Akechi dies near the end of the game, sacrificing himself and letting the Thieves escape Shido’s Palace. While Royal brought him back for the epilogue, it’s implied that he dies afterward.

Kasumi has only ever appeared in Royal, so seeing her in a new spin-off is really nice. She doesn’t appear in Strikers, unfortunately, likely due to her gymnastics training. Her absence isn’t as missed as the female protagonist from Persona 3 but it's pretty close.

No release date for the story DLC was shown in the leak so fans still have other things to watch out for. Until then, fans will be able to get Persona 5 Tactica on November 17 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
