Nokia 10 PureView could be a 2021 flagship to reignite the iconic phone brand

Nokia and phones are becoming a nostalgia piece for many. Back from the days of the 3310 and the N95.

But they're still creating devices, and it looks like they have one in development which is going to have a 'pro' screen.

With some fans waiting for launches of the Nokia 7.3 5G and the Nokia 9.3 Pureview, rumours have been swirling to a device that's meant to rival the 'Pro' line of devices from OnePlus, Apple and more.

With some recent leaks, it could justify the wait for the 10 PureView.

What is the 10 PureView?

Apparently scheduled for the second half of 2021, it's reported to have the yet-to-be released Snapdragon 875 processor, which can enable 5G cellular on the many waves it's available on.

It's also touted to have a stainless steel frame with an edge to edge display, much like the Nokia 8 Sirocco.

Past Nokia phones have been known to float in the low to mid-range sector of Android phones ever since they entered the market a few years ago.

However, there's never been a premium phone from them, which is why the 10 PureView will be an interesting device to feast the eyes on when it's official.

What about the Camera?

With devices such as the iPhone 12 line featuring Dolby-Vision technology in its camera, alongside the different modes of 4K video, Nokia need to up its game if it wants to compete in the high-end sector.

The 10 PureView is rumoured to have a 'multi-lens' camera with 'Zeiss' optics, a name not heard of in years since the Nokia 6800 phone.

This phone could give Nokia some standing in the ever-saturated smartphone space, especially as brands like Sony are struggling to find their place now.

With a tentative release date of next year, it could be interesting to see if Nokia has what it takes to compete against brands who once leapfrogged them years ago.
