Hulk's son Skaar will reportedly appear in She-Hulk comedy series

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is expanding faster than ever before. With the end of the Infinity Saga, Marvel is starting to bring countless beloved characters to the screen with the next wave of MCU content. For the upcoming She-Hulk series, fans might be able to see the first live-action adaptation of a new obscure Marvel character: Hulk’s son, Skaar.

Hulk's son Skaa joins She-Hulk

In a report by The Direct, Marvel's She-Hulk show will star a host of awesome Hulk characters. Not only will the titular She-Hulk make her MCU debut, but she'll be joined by Mark Ruffalo's Hulk and Tim Roth's Abomination. Charlie Cox will reportedly return as Matt Murdoch, albeit as a different version of the character.

The report states that the show will also be introducing two new characters. Hamilton actress Renée Elise Goldsberry is attached to the show in an unannounced role. However, what's most interesting is the claim that Hulk’s son Skaar will be a main part of the story.

The Direct claims that Skaar was conceived by Hulk between Age of Ultron and Thor: Ragnarok. As the character grows far quicker than most, the time gap in Avengers: Endgame gives Skaar the time to grow to his full size.

How does the character fit into the story?

According to The Direct, She-Hulk's comedic writing will mostly play Hulk’s son as a joke. As Bruce Banner has finally gained control over Hulk’s anger, dealing with an overly-aggressive child could be a fun storyline.

The Direct explains that the story will likely involve Skaar and his mother trying to get something out of Bruce Banner. The outlet speculates that the two will either try to get alimony payment or give Banner custody of his son.

Whatever the case, it'll be interesting to see another B-list Marvel character make their way into the MCU. Hulk has often been sidelined in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, much to fan disappointment. With this in mind, it's nice to see the character’s lore finally be expanded upon.
