Fortnite continues to be the king of crossovers, bringing over Doomguy from DOOM, Izuku Midoriya from My Hero Academia, and more in a new update. While fans are happy to see Doomguy in the game, many were saddened by the loss of his magnificent posterior.

Though DOOM is a first-person shooter, promotional art and 3D models did give fans a chance to witness the Doom Slayer's squat-tastic behind. Unfortunately, it has now been gutted and fans are mourning over the iconic gamer's butt-funeral.

Considering all of the attractive men and women that are now playable in Fortnite’s battle royale, it’s unfortunate that the FPS icon had to be nerfed in this way. But don’t take our word for it, take the fans’.

A post on the DOOM subreddit went viral on Twitter, as it mourned the loss of Doomguy’s great butt. The post compares his posterior size from DOOM Eternal to Fortnite, and as fans can see, it’s a huge downgrade.

Many were quick to make joke posts about their disappointment:

What makes this more disappointing is the fact that Fortnite is the only official way to see a Doomguy model in the third person. It was the chance to see his shapely butt run across the battlefield to fight Son Goku and Superman, but now that’s been ruined.

Funnily enough, we’ve seen this type of censorship before, albeit, from Nintendo. Many fans will remember how Solid Snake was thicc back in Super Smash Bros. Brawl before it got decreased in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Now Solid Snake and Doomguy share the same fate and it’s not fair at all.

Despite the injustice, Fortnite is still a relatively fun game to play. The game is readily available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, PC, and mobile devices.
