While there’s a chance that this is just for a one-off event, seeing an actual building of the series’ cursed establishment has excited and scared many a fan.
On Twitter, a user going by ‘kip’ has been posting about this seemingly IRL restaurant based on the popular horror game series. Although kip was told the building has been made strictly for advertisement purposes, the user thinks there might be more to it due to various lights and testing.
Even if it’s just for an event, seeing an actual building with Freddy Fazbear’s face in it has many fans excited. Some fans have joked about being a victim when an official restaurant opens, due to the game’s plot.
There are also fans who are against these kinds of jokes, as Five Nights at Freddy’s creator Scott Cawthon previously talked about his fears of an actual FNAF restaurant. Joking about getting killed is one thing, but an actual murder happening because it happens in the games is terrifying to Cawthon and many other fans.
Considering how obsessive fans have been about the game’s lore, there’s no wonder why there’s so much hype about a potential restaurant, let alone the movie. As long as fans can be chill and simply enjoy the bizarre atmosphere, there is a lot of fun that can be had in a pizzeria like this.
Fans can’t wait to check out the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s movie, especially since Josh Hutcherson and Matthew Lillard are part of the cast. YouTube sensation Markiplier has also hinted at appearing in the film, possibly as a cameo. Thankfully, fans won’t have to wait too long for the movie so they can know what the future holds for this franchise.
