Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty is coming out later this month and fans are curious about how much space it will take up. A recent leak has shown that the expansion won’t be too hefty overall, though players may still want to make space.

Leaker HazzadorGamin tweeted out the file size of Phantom Liberty and it's a decently-sized 32GB. There was a time when this would be considered large but in an age of 100GB games, this seems quaint.

Since the expansion is adding a whole district with new story missions and side quests, 32GB isn’t bad at all. What also makes this pill easier to swallow is that Phantom Liberty is the only expansion coming to the RPG, so players won’t have to delete too much data.

Admittedly, the additional 32GB will make the already large file of Cyberpunk 2077 bigger in the grand scheme of things. Currently, the base game is around 80GB so the addition of Phantom Liberty will make it cross that 100GB line.

Unfortunately, due to modern AAA games taking up more than 100GB these days, the news is far from surprising. It was recently discovered that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will weigh around 98GB, which is essentially 100GB these days. Square Enix is also proudly flaunting Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth coming in two discs, meaning it could be the first 200GB PS5 game.

Thankfully, CD Projekt Red has made sure that this expansion will be a great addition to this first-person RPG. Fans are already getting the revamped skill tree for free but the expansion adds the aforementioned new story and side missions. In addition to all of that, players can get a new ending when finishing the DLC and base story.
