Baldur’s Gate 3 may be an absolutely massive game, but there are some features that seem left on the cutting room floor. In a new mod, fans have taken to expand on one of the game’s more restrictive customisation fields with a wealth of new options.

The Baldur’s Gate 3 Dice Set Expansion increases the game’s dice options from a mere three dice to a total of 17. That’s more than a five times increase in the number of D20s you can now roll.

In the base game, you do have the option to change the colour or theme of the dice you roll. For those with the base game, you get to choose between Scuffed Metal and the beautiful Behir Blue. Deluxe Edition owners also get the fancy Dragonflame Red.

With the Baldur’s Gate 3 Dice Set Expansion mod, you can enjoy virtually rolling a number of fancy colours in the world of Faerun. From stunning Mind Flayer inspired die to a glimmering gold, these dice will add even more customisation options to your game.

By downloading the pack, you’ll have access to the new collection inside the game’s pre-existing dice selection menu. The Sharran Shadow dice is a personal favourite, coming in a deep purple shade that would certainly appease the Goddess of Loss. Eldathyn Emerald is a close second, the first of two greens that shines effortlessly against the UI’s backdrop.

Beautiful.

While the Dice Set Expansion may not be the best Baldur’s Gate 3 mod, it is a fun addition for those who aren’t afraid to add things to their game. At the time of writing, the mod requires the installation of the game’s mod manager as well as the Expanded UI mod. We also suggest downloading the Lone Wolf mod for the ultimate single-player adventure.

If you want to give the mod a go for yourself, you can download it right here. Baldur’s Gate 3 is currently available on Steam.
