Armored Core 6 is letting fans go crazy with their mech creations and they have made some outstanding war machines. Being able to customize your mech was always the appeal of this series but seeing some of these creations boggles the mind.

Fans on the game’s subreddit have showcased some fairly impressive mechs based on various characters from popular media. Venom from Marvel Comics, Shinji’s Evangelion model Eva 01, Joe Swanson from Family Guy, fans are really enjoying the game’s customization.

Now that Armored Core 6 is out in the wild, players can use their custom-made mechas in battle with other players. This means that you can make your custom Joe Swanson fight someone else’s Optimus Prime in the weirdest crossover ever.

The amount of customization available won’t surprise long-time fans of the franchise, as building mechs has always been a selling point. While some entries were stronger than others, it’s good to see the sixth entry stick to what makes this franchise tick.

Despite the ridiculous amounts of customization seen here, players will need to be smart when using their silly mechs in battle. Some enemies will give players trouble if they aren’t careful, so they will need to choose the best parts and weapons.

In addition to looking great on every system it's available on, Armored Core 6 runs fairly well on Steam Deck. Although it might not hit the highest FPS without draining the battery, anyone who wants to build mechs on the go can do so.
