Just Cause movie: Here's what we know about its release date, trailer, cast and more

Just Cause is a video game series all about the absurd and the bombastic.

Sure, there's a story, but it's hardly relevant in the face of sick wingsuit tricks and playing with magnets. It's a way of making science fun, even if it's not real-world science.

You might wonder why on Earth there's going to be a film of it then. How can anybody bring all of that joy and the frenetic chaos of the games into a more passive medium?

Well, who knows, but we do have all of the information there is about the Just Cause movie, so maybe that explains it?

Just Cause movie release date

There's no release date as of yet, but we do have a few details about the film itself.

Surprisingly, what we know is actually quite encouraging, and we'll get to that.

Regarding a release date though, it's a few years away at least as the film was due to start filming this year. As you may have noticed, this year sucks, so nothing has happened.

Just Cause movie trailer

Unsurprisingly, there's also no trailer.

We're not sure what you were expecting after the release date section, really.

We'll put it here when it appears though, promise.

Just Cause movie cast

This is where things get really interesting. The rights to the film got picked up by a company called Constantin Film. They then hired Derek Kolstad to write the script.

Derek Kolstad, for those unaware, is the creator of the John Wick films, which you might know as being basically the best brain-off action films in recent memory.

That could well mean that we'll get some entertaining times in the films, or at least some incredibly good action sequences.
