Five Nights At Freddy's movie: Here's what we know about its release date, trailer, cast and more

Five Nights At Freddy's is a classic tale of a new employee at a children's restaurant who has to try and survive as the animatronics try and find them and stuff them into a metal box.

It's a horror game and one that is so successful that it's had roughly 30,000 sequels.

It's also being turned into a movie, probably a horror one too.

So, here's everything we know so far about the Five Nights At Freddy's movie.

There's no release date yet, but in an interview with Fandom Jason Blum, a producer on the project, said "I feel like it’s really moving forward; it’s not stalled or anything else. It might seem that way because we have don’t have any announcements about it, but it’s not stalled. It’s moving rapidly forward. I don’t want to put a timeline on it, but soon we’ll get a movie. I really feel confident about that."

That could mean anything, but we'd wager it's still a couple of years out at this point.

We have no trailer because info on this project is fairly scarce. However, if things are indeed moving forwards, then it could be that we have one in the next few months.

Five Nights At Freddy's movie cast

The entire cast isn't a cast at all but a list of the crew instead.

So far the project has Jason Blum, Scott Cawthon, and Chris Columbus all listed as producers.

Chris Columbus is also the director, and Scott Cawthon is currently listed as the writer too.
