With new phones coming at us all the time, it can be tricky to tell the differences between them.
This is especially true as more and more companies lean into bringing out two new phones at a similar time, because it used to be that you could just get the new one.
That's not the case anymore, and the Google Pixel 5 and Google Pixel 4a are the latest phones to hit this very specific issue.
So, what exactly are the differences between the Google Pixel 5 and Google Pixel 4a?
Google Pixel 5 specs, features, price, and release date
Let's kick things off with the 5. The specs look like this:
- CPU: Snapdragon 765G
- RAM: 8GB
- Storage: 128GB
- Battery Size: 4,080 mAh
Those are some fairly impressive stats, and ones which you would expect to set you back a chunk of cash. Let's have a look at the features:
- Screen Size: 6-inch 90hz OLED
- Rear Cameras: 12.2MP main camera and 16MP ultra-wide camera
- Front Camera: 8MP
You're going to get some very nice pictures with this thing. Let's talk about the cost. The cost for the Google Pixel 5 will be £599 and will release on October 15th. That's not far away at all.

- CPU: Snapdragon 730G
- RAM: 6GB

The specs are good but not as impressive as the 5. What about the features? Well, here you go:
- Screen Size: 5.81-inch 60hz OLED
- Rear Cameras: 12.2MP
- Front Camera: 8MP
The 4a lacks some of the oomph of the 5 overall, but it comes in at a substantially cheaper cost. The Google Pixel 4a only costs £349 and released on October 1st. You might even have already picked one up.
