Call of Duty: Warzone is one of the hottest games today and with GeForce Now bringing games on to a higher level of overall graphics, Warzone might even benefit from being played on NVIDIA'S streaming service.

However, after some intervention from Activision Blizzard in 2020, this might not be a possibility anymore.

Here's everything you need to know if you're a GeForce Now user trying to play Warzone.

Is Warzone on GeForce Now?

At the time of writing, Warzone is not available on NVIDIA's GeForce Now.

This means that Warzone is not able to take advantage of any streaming services as of 2022, with the game also being unavailable on Google Stadia, for example.

This could change in the future, although given Activision's comments on the matter, seems unlikely...

Why is Warzone not on GeForce Now?

In early 2020 Activision - along with Bethesda and 2K - pulled their game titles from the service, initially offering little explanation.

The news was revealed in a forum post on the GeForce Now forums, which you can read below:

As we take GeForce NOW to the next step in its evolution, we’ve worked with publishers to onboard a robust catalog of your PC games.
This means continually adding new games, and on occasion, having to remove games – similar to other digital service providers.
Per their request, please be advised Activision Blizzard games will be removed from the service. While unfortunate, we hope to work together with Activision Blizzard to reenable these games and more in the future.
In addition to the hundreds of games currently supported, we have over 1,500 games that developers have asked to be on-boarded to the service. Look for weekly updates as to new games we are adding.

For the time being at least, GeForce Now players will have to make do with the other games available to play on the service.

Will Warzone come back to GeForce Now?

It's hard to say, but there don't appear to be any immediate plans from Activision Blizzard to bring their games (past or present) to the NVIDIA-based gaming cloud service.

Whether Activision - or any publisher - chooses to bring back their games in the future is up for debate.

In a world where Microsoft can buy Bethesda, we certainly wouldn't rule out anything happening. In the meantime though, you'll just have to get your Warzone fix through a different service.
