Marvel's Avengers is out in the world now, with Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics' game assembling on consoles and computers the world over. And today we're here to show you a fun clip of all the playable characters in the game trying to lift Thor's famous hammer, Mjolnir.
The current roster of playable characters in Marvel's Avengers includes Tony Stark (Iron Man), Bruce Banner (Hulk), Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow), Kamala Khan (Ms Marvel), Steve Rogers (Captain America) and Thor himself. Clint Barton and Kate Bishop's two different versions of Hawkeye will also be joining the game soon.

But which of the current crop can lift Thor's hammer? Keep reading to find out, but please bear in mind that you could deem this video a slight spoiler for the game...

Shared online by GameClip, here's what happens when each Avengers tries to lift Thor's hammer (which, of course, will only budge if you're 'worthy' to wield the power of Thor):
When Kamala, Natasha, Tony and Bruce try to lift the hammer... nothing much happens. But when Steve Rogers, aka Captain America, gives it ago... it does budge!
Somewhat amusingly, the hammer also seems to glitch out and disappear after Captain Rogers wiggles it around. But as the player finds out later in the clip, the hammer is still there when Thor returns to his chamber later on - weird!

Haven't I seen this scene before?
Pretty much! In Joss Whedon's Avengers: Age Of Ultron movie, there was a party scene in which Earth's mightiest heroes all tried their luck with Mjolnir. You can re-watch it here:
The Avengers game is clearly paying homage to this MCU moment, which also featured a slight budge from Mjolnir when Cap took his turn. This, of course, paid off in a big way when Cap wielded Mjolnir for real in Avengers: Endgame.
You might have forgotten, though, that Vision also lifted Mjolnir in a brief moment from Age Of Ultron. If you need or want to, you can refresh your memory here:
As more heroes are added to the Avengers game and their characters develop through story add-ons, it'll be interesting to see if anyone else does properly wield Mjolnir later on.
