Paul Rudd might actually make Ant-Man’s podcast a reality

Ms Marvel’s premiere episode had the tall task of explaining how everyone knew about the Battle of Earth in Avengers: Endgame. In a quick joke, the series explains that Ant-Man, revealed all in a podcast: “Big Me, Little Me: A Scott Lang Interview”. As it turns out, after heavy fan demand, Ant-Man actor Paul Rudd may actually make the podcast a reality.

Will Paul Rudd make the Ant-Man Podcast?

In an interview with The Wrap, Ms. Marvel writer Bisha K. Ali revealed that they would be very interested in making the podcast a reality. While the audio series started off as a joke, fans have expressed a huge desire for the interview so be real.

Ali explained that it would be incredibly fun to expand the MCU into a new medium. Franchises like Batman and Halo have already created award-winning story-based podcasts in the past, and the MCU could jump on the bandwagon.

In the interview, Ali called on Paul Rudd to make the podcast real. The writer explained that they would write it as well, making sure that it’s of the utmost quality.

“I’m desperate to listen to this podcast and desperate to make it,” Ali said. “Like, also, why shouldn’t the MCU expand into podcasting? Like fiction podcast? I mean, Paul Rudd, what’s up? Let’s do it. I’ll write it, you just sit in a booth. It’ll be a good time. I would love to hear it. And also because — I don’t know, it can’t be for for everyone, but for me, podcasts are my relaxed space. Like I’m obsessed with podcasts. So yeah, I can see Kamala just sitting around listening to it all the time. I’d love to make it.”

Will the podcast be in Ant-Man 3?

Paul Rudd will be reprising his role as Ant-Man for the upcoming Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. With the movie over a year away, there’s plenty of time to do more with the idea of Scott Lang’s podcast.

For example, there could be a scene of Lang recording the podcast, or just listening to his own voice. There could be multiple references to the interview within the movie. However, they could just make the whole thing.

Fiction podcasts have often been made as marketing pieces for upcoming films or games. If Big Me, Little Me was made as a promotional piece for the upcoming movie, that would be the perfect time to release it.

Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania is set to release in cinemas on February 17th, 2023.
