Disney promotes Netflix Marvel shows alongside MCU, sparking crossover theories

There’s been a lot of buzz surrounding the original Marvel Netflix shows. With Kingpin and Daredevil in the MCU, and Jessica Jones has rumored for an appearance in the She-Hulk, Disney is capitalizing on that hype.

It’s all connected

A Disney+ Instagram post shows a huge planning boards filled with pictures of Marvel Netflix characters. Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, The Punisher, and Iron Fist are all shown off, with the post claiming that they’re all connected. Even Karen Page is shown off as part of The Punisher’s board.

This led to many fans thinking that we’ll see more of these characters in future MCU projects, with some even hoping for these shows to get revivals. No official announcement has been made regarding the future of the former Marvel Netflix characters but there’s definitely a plan there if Daredevil and Kingpin’s appearances mean anything.

Defenders reunion?

With Daredevil and Kingpin already appearing in the MCU, not to mention the rumors of Jessica Jones, there seems to be a plan for the Defenders to make a comeback. Kevin Feige previously stated that Charlie Cox would be the MCU’s Daredevil from here on out, with many theorizing that he’ll be appearing in She-Hulk due to both of them being lawyers.

Currently, all of the former Marvel Netflix shows are available to watch on the Disney+ streaming service. Disney+ is also home to several Marvel shows that aren’t considered canon to the MCU like Agents of SHIELD, The Runaways, and Cloak and Dagger.
