- Tap "Compose" at the bottom right.
- Now tap "Help me write" in the bottom right and enter a prompt.
- It is important to remember to also include a tone of what you might be looking to write. For example "a thank you letter for a nice gift", "a courteous feedback reply to a job interview".
- If you don't get a draft you like, try again with different prompt information.
- Tap "Create".
- When you've finished, tap "Insert" to use the prompt in your mail.
Now you can feel free to edit your email and refine it. But if you've already written something and want the Gmail AI to improve it, here's what you might want to do:
- Open the Gmail app on your Android phone or tablet or visit the Gmail website on your desktop.
