Twitch Watch Party feature revealed: Here's how to host a movie or TV viewing party on Twitch

While things do seem to be getting better slowly, it's not like we're all able to meet up at each other's houses and chill out like we used to.

Well, the internet is becoming better and better at replicating some of the experiences we all miss, and this time around it's all thanks to Twitch.

Twitch has announced a new feature that lets users consume that good content together, and it's called Watch Party.

So, here is what you need to know about Twitch Watch Party.

What is Twitch Watch Party

Now then, according to Twitch "With Watch Parties, Twitch communities can come together to watch, react, and discuss any movie or TV show that is available with their Amazon Prime or Prime Video subscription, directly on Twitch."

"Watch Parties is currently available to all creators and viewers on desktop web. We are working on mobile viewing of Watch Parties and expect to make it available in the coming months."

So, it's basically a nice and easy way to share the experience of watching a movie or a TV show with your community. This could well lead to a new kind of streaming, but we'll have to wait and see just how big this becomes.
