But that popularity has come at a cost, as the servers have struggled at times to cope with the sheer weight of traffic they are trying to deal with. What Is Lost Ark Error 10027?
Players who encounter Lost Ark error 10027 will instantly know what's going on. The error is accompanied by the message "Cannot connect due to heavy traffic". In very simple terms, the error is arising because the server is simply unable to cope with the volume of players who are attempting to access that particular server. And it doesn't mean you are even in a queue. In fact, the queues are full as well, so you simply won't be able to access that server.
This is an issue that has most seriously impacted players in the European region. So much so in fact, that the developers recently posted an update. They explain that in an attempt to alleviate some of the problems, they are:

The hope is that once this new server region is established, it will reduce the load on both the existing server and the new one. Thus allowing players to get into their chosen server more easily. Additionally, server traffic is almost always at its highest just after a game is released. So you may find that as time goes on, things will begin to stabilise. And this error will be a much less frequent sight.
