How to play Xbox xCloud Games on your Phone

Microsoft have been extremely busy as of late. In addition to the release of two new consoles, the Xbox Series X and Series S, they also launched a service called xCloud.

So if you've been wanting to play Xbox games, but don't want to spend hundreds on a new console, then this may be exactly what you are looking for.

Read on to find out all you need to know about this service.

What is xCloud

xCloud launched at the back end of 2020, and is still currently in Beta mode.

It is a service which allows you access to play over 100 games on your Android phone or tablet.

It is not currently available on iOS (sorry, Apple fans!).

You will need an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription in order to use the service, as well as a few other essential components.

How to use xCloud

To use xCloud, you need Android 6.0 or greater, and Bluetooth 4.0+.

You also need to download the Xbox Game Pass app, and make sure you have an active Ultimate Membership subscription.

To play, you will need a compatible Bluetooth controller, and an internet speed of at least 10mbps down.

Once you are ready, simply open the Xbox Game Pass app, and select the Cloud tab to see which games are available.

Select a title, and press Play, to get started.
