The 'GeForce Experience' app allows a user to see how their GPU is doing stats-wise, alongside checking if there are any driver updates available.
However as we've previously mentioned, there are users who prefer to maintain their NVIDIA GPU without having to use an app like this.
With that, here’s how to uninstall the GeForce Experience app.
What is the GeForce Experience App?
When you purchase a PC, there may be times where you find certain applications already installed, meant to 'help' you in measuring how the hardware installed is operating. The 'GeForce Experience' app has been known to be pre-installed.
If you're not aware, it's an application by NVIDIA where it can give you an overall view of your GPU, and you can even tune it to suit certain games if needed.
However, many are simply not interested in doing this; as long as the GPU works, that's all that matters.
Uninstall the GeForce Experience app from your Control Panel
The most common method of removing the 'GeForce Experience' app is to uninstall from your PC’s Control Panel.
- Launch the Start Menu and look for the ‘add or remove programs’ option. Select it once you have found it.
- Browse all the installed apps on your PC and look for the NVIDIA GeForce Experience.
- Right-click on it and choose Uninstall.
- Follow the uninstallation process that will appear on your screen.
Once the message box appears, you will discover that any link to the app has now disappeared, and your PC is free of the application.
