Latest Warzone Season 4 Update will reduce file size
While the Season 4 Reloaded update is around 30GB in size, Infinity Ward promises that it will take up very little, if any, of your precious storage.
The official patch notes claim that “Once the Season Four Reloaded update is fully completed, it should minimally increase the overall digital footprint of the full version.”
For free-to-play Warzone owners, there will be “a reduction to the overall footprint on their machines” once the download is complete.
Infinity Ward comments on massive Modern Warfare and Warzone file size
Infinity Ward’s Paul Haile previously told US Gamer: “Modern Warfare and Warzone are both massive experiences with tons of ways to play and new content being added regularly, and we are cognizant of the overall download size.
“As a team we are committed to updating the game with new free content of course, but have also taken steps for overall footprint management, including a DLC pack management screen for console users. This allows players to pick and choose which DLC packs they want to keep, and remove the others to recover more space.”
