What is an Xbox Live Party?

An Xbox Live party allows you to communicate online with friends, while you are watching a film, or playing a video game.

This was a feature as far back as the Xbox 360, but it has since become available on your Windows 10 PC.

So if you want to use this feature on your PC, what exactly do you need to do?

Here are our top tips, to help you get the party started.

How do I start an Xbox Live Party?

First, you need the Xbox Game Bar on your Windows PC. If you don't have it, you can get it here.

Once you have it, select the Xbox Social widget, located at the top, and sign in with your existing Microsoft Account.

To invite a friend, right click on them on your friend list, and select "Invite to Party".

This will open the Xbox Chat widget, and you and your friends can start interacting.
