One of the most popular features of the Alienware keyboard is its capability to set macros.
Although this may seem to be complicated for some, if you do it properly and manage to pull it off, then your keyboard would be filled with macros.
You just need to follow some steps and take note of some pointers to successfully set the right macros for your keyboard.
And here's how to set macros on your Alienware keyboard:
Set your macros on Alienware keyboard
The first thing you need to do to set macros in your Alienware keyboard is to open the Alienware Command Center.
Find and go to the Fx tab and click on the macros tab. Once you've found it, this is where you start to set macros on your Alienware keyboard.
Click the blue plus sign beside where it says 'create new macro'. You may now create your macro just the way you like it.
Assign your macros on your keyboard
Now, as per the official Reddit page for Alienware, all you have to do is to assign the macros on your keyboard.
Create a keystroke that directs to the app that you want to open or use. Then right-click on your desktop and choose New.
Once done, select Shortcut and type in the app that you assigned to and select Next. Put a name for the shortcut and click Finish.
Set your keystroke by going to the Properties and there you can assign the new keystroke to one of your macros keys.
