Your Dell Alienware gaming PC or laptop could be used in many ways. Although, for most people, gaming is the most common pastime on these devices.

But what if you want to restore defaults on your Alienware device?

Of course there is a way. Wait, or should I say, there are multiple 'ways' to do it.

And so, here's how to restore defaults in your Dell Alienware gaming PC or laptop:

First way to restore defaults on your Dell Alienware device from the official support page

The official Dell support page lists two ways how to restore defaults on your gaming device.

The first way requires you to click either the restore settings or load defaults option on your BIOS or system setup screen.

Take note that the BIOS defaults are being selected to load your defaults.

Click OK, then exit afterwards. It will restart your computer and will now restore your defaults once it turns on.

Second way to restore defaults on your Dell Alienware device from the official support page

The second way is almost the same but differs from some of the steps along the way.

Press the right arrow key on your BIOS screen until you can highlight the menu on it. Then follow through by pressing the down arrow until you can highlight either the restore defaults or load optimal defaults option.

Press enter to select yes to the load optimized defaults or the load optimal defaults option.

It will now restart your PC or laptop afterwards, and the defaults should now be restored.
