Check The Servers
It's almost certainly the case that the issue is linked to the servers being unable to cope with demand. So therefore, the best thing to try and do, is to find a server which isn't too busy.
The server browser can help with this, by indicating which servers have relatively few players on them. Be aware though, that there can sometimes be a delay between players joining a server and the numbers being updated. As a result, a server may look quiet when it is in fact already busy.
If this is the case, simply try another server until you find one which works for you.
One other option to think about is to use a VPN. This will potentially allow you to access servers in a different region, which can be effective if your region is substantially busier. If you are already using a VPN, then try disabling it, to see whether this makes a difference.

What Is The Arma Reforger Connection Failed Error?
The connection failed error is a pretty straightforward one to explain. As players attempt to join a game, they get an error message saying that "connection has failed/internal error has occurred". As a result, those players are unable to access the game they have just tried to join.
The reason this appears to be happening is almost certainly down to server capacity. As we mentioned earlier, the game is currently available as an early access version. This means it is more of a 'test' version than a fully-formed, complete game.
